Software Quality Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented Software Quality Automation Engineer to join our team and deliver technology solutions for our Corporate Action applications. This role involves performing automated and manual testing.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or higher and 7+ years of application quality assurance testing experience overall. This is an onsite position in our Quincy, MA location.

As a Software Quality Engineer Officer you will:
• Analyze existing Automation and make recommendations for improvements
• Build, enhance, and maintain an automated test infrastructure
• Analyze requirements and design effective test cases (both manual and automated)
• Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts
• Ensure adherence with all State Street SDLC tollgate requirements for SQA ensuring all proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the software testing process
• Analyze business requirements, Agile stories and acceptance criteria to define test cases
• Design test plans and execute functional and integration test cases
• Ensure new manual test case scenarios get added to existing automation regression test suites
• Execute manual and automation regression tests
• Capture and save test backup documentation
• Report and track defects/bugs
• Work with Agile team members to research and resolve issues/impediments utilizing proven problem-solving skills These skills will help you succeed in this role:
• Experience with modifying and running UFT Automation a plus
• Experience with Corporate Actions, Custody processing, or Fund Accounting business and/or testing experience is preferable
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Jira and XRAY test management tool is preferable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with SWIFT MT564, MT565, MT567, and MT568 messages a plus
• Strong ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
• Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
• Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience with test automation
• The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual and have a minimum of 7 years of SQA experience or demonstrate extensive analytical capabilities and experience in Corporate Action operational processing with a strong interest in pursuing a career path in Software Quality Assurance.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
